Wow! That’s impressive growth for only a month, even in summer! Your nutrient levels are clearly quite good!Awesome, thank you for the tip!
It's going well, still murky water from the top soil I used, but the fish don't seem to mind lol! Water Lettuce and Water Hyacinth on the surface are growing like crazy. The perennials in the pots are doing well too, I'll be excited to see how they look next year, I expect them to come back much stronger and with more blooms:

I've been meaning to paint that top rail too lol!!
And then just today I checked and I've got a little blue flower on my Pickerel Rush (I believe it's called), and I didn't even know that plant flowered lol!

Thanks for your reply and interest here!
Haha I was not aware that species flowered either! It’s a beautiful blossom! — you should post it in the “lets see some flowers” thread!
The top rails should definitely be painted if you want it to survive in the long term; possibly drain out 50% of the pond water so you can get to the interior underside and see what you’re doing! — the screws will rot out eventually! (Don’t ask me how I know!)
For context; here’s my ugly little “pond”… it started out as a hydroponic system back in 2012-ish.. it’s been through many changes over the years, and is long overdue for a complete rebuild!…Turtles ended up getting added when I lost most of my interest in growing productive edible crops in it (too much testing/dosing)… So, it became more of a turtle pond/aquaponic testing system…
Current test is closed loop vs. drain to waste aquaponic growth of ornamental flowers!
