having small sized meals so your still hungry!
My fitness pal app helps a lot to. Make it a numbers game and understand how much is goin in and how much is going out
I've been using MyNetDiary Pro. It's a calorie tracker, but my goals are about 65 pounds of weight loss and dropping my cholesterol count. I'm down about 23 pounds so far by basically dropping junk drinks (some soda and tons of fancy coffee drinks) and watching portions a bit. The doc will tell me next week how the cholesterol goes.
I'm itching to get my own meters for cholesterol, blood suge and anything else I can.
It's unbelievable to me how much we test for our tanks, but ZERO for ourselves.
I won't repeat my post about the vid on sugar (just watch it!), but you have hit the nail on the head by cutting out the lion's share of added-sugar! I'm glad you're seeing a doc but my bet is you won't need to take further action unless you want to. :)

I do not know my BF% and yes I plan on going to the gym I just haven't wanted to yet.Cool, do you know your BF% by chance? Do you plan to ever go to the gym after you reach your goal?

I would love to reduce my refined sugar intact..... it probably makes up 90% of my diet. I pretty much figure I'll be battling GI cancer in my future and I eat unprocessed in many ways, but refined sugar and sushi rice are my downfall. The sugar I pour in my tea is what I'd have trouble giving up and I pretty much drink it 24/7. I don't need to lose weight, so it's hard to find the incentive to do so. I think I'm going to measure out a little bit of sugar in a container and at the end of the day, see how much I actually drink.
I've tried a 1000 different times to cut out the sugar from the tea. I can do it anywhere else, but in the tea. It's very cultural for me...
