Not that one specifically but I do have the SB reef box extreme. I really like it so far. Great light all around.

I have the 16 inch pro on my 45 cube and it is amazing! My corals show colors I didn't even know they had. You will not be disappointed of you go this route.

So far I only have it at 35 blues and 20 whites max. I've been meaning to turn them up a tiny bit now that everything's adjusted, but I haven't had a free 30 min to mess with them lol. Blues 11am-11pm,whites noon-10,and moons until 2am.

How high off the water do you have the light?

I can't remember off the top of my head. I wanna say about 12 inches, but that could be wrong. I know I made the light hanger so it would be 12 inches, but I ended up not hanging it the way I originally planned so it might be off a bit. I'll remeasure it tomorrow, I just tucked myself into bed lol.

Oh don't worry about it haha. I'm just trying to see what other people are doing with the same type of light I have. I had to bring mine higher up to get a little better coverage. I'd say mine is probably a foot and a half above.

I've seen them as high as 2 feet, so you are fine:). My tank is only 24x24x18 so where I have it works for me. I am going for heavy LPS with this tank, so I may have to lower mine a bit at some point so I have more shadows on the sides. I am running out of shady spots for new LPS;) I may have to fill in all the bright spots with some sps lol.

FWIW you wont have to worry about sps w the SB's. Get good even coverage and go from there. With the stock factory height it should, from several sources, give you almost 1000 par at the top of the tank full up.
"most" "high light" sps need only about 400par max btw.
some species of leptoseris sps are the deepest water sps at nearly 80 meters:eek:

The only reason I havent got one yet is Im cheap to a fault :oops:and not 100% sure it will give good coverage on my 48"wide tank. 99% yes but not 100:D
