I have purchased one AI Blade grow and am using it along with my primary light, my coral have exploded with growth. I am now thinking of adding a AI glow, but am not having a lot luck finding any information other than sales info on it.

Has anyone used or seen one in real life, and is it worth the extra cost over the Grow?

many people have reviewed them on youtube, check out reef dudes. whether or not they are worth the extra price is up to you and your preference... the glow gives a much bluer look unlike the grow.

If you go based on the spectrum of the previous AI lights (Prime, Hydra, etc), what AI basically did with the Blade is split things into two lights. With the older lights you got violets, blues and whites (white/red/green) in a single fixture. The Blade Grow and Blade Glow only each offer half of that spectrum (with some overlap in the middle). If you want the full "wide blue band", you really need BOTH a Grow and a Glow.

Grow = Blue and White
Glow = Violet and Blue

Depending on your primary light, the Glow may be a better supplement than the Grow.

Yep, the violet LEDs are awesome. Just hope in version 2 they use more violets and less royal blue

I’m running 2-21” grows and a 12” glow on an evo and it’s more than enough
