Hello I recently replaced my fan with a identical fan other that the fan it’s self being different (see pic)

It’s came with all 3 wires black so had to use a multi meter to work out what wire went where’. But the fan stays on 24/7, it’s also loud as hell!

So questions

1 - anyone got a link for the fan they have used? I need dead silent or the wife won’t have a

2 - is the fan meant to be on even after the lights have gone out for the night? (24/7). If so this would make the third wire on the fan pointless since it’s a taco/sensor wire)

No pic to see. The fan should ramp up and down based on the temperature of the fixture. Mine definitely are not on when the light is off or dim.

Hmm, I checked my wiring and it’s correct. Fan stay on. Pic won’t attach for some reason.
