AP9X and the wifi app

Hello all just received my AP9X light and downloaded the app.
I am totally lost lol.
I have no idea what I am doing and how to use the app.
Are there preset programs?
Is there a site to look at to explain it better ?
Very excited but just got home from work and hooked it up .... not on the tank but to to mess with it and I don't understand it.
I have a 110 gallon 4 foot wide 20 deep and 20 front to back.
I have a reef breeders photon now.
The app seems very easy
I plan on maybe getting 1 more AP9X in the future
Mostly softies some sticks
Just need some help on the app and how to use all the features

It’s a little odd feeling at first but go to Kessils site and there should be some setup and use instructions there. Also YouTube should still have some actual step by step videos that were a big help when I made the switch to 3- A360X with the Wifi dongle.

If you still don’t find what you’re looking PM me and I’ll be happy to walk you thru as much as I know from using mine.

I have Fluval and EcoTech stuff that's app controlled, both easier to use imo. Kessil app never had any connection problems or anything though so I'll give it that.

Looked at ecotech liked the app but the light were ok but also at kessil and I really liked kessil but the app just ok. then a local Reefer had a 3 month old AP9X for less then 600 so that really made up my mind lol
So I just have to learn the app.

Yeah I like the light alot don't get me wrong. Went with it for simple mounting solution and to only have 1 light instead of 2

Ok so I *think* I have the app figured out lol.
Few questions I was trying to get the light on tuna sun, and can't seem to figure it out. It just wants to stay on tuna blue. Do I even want tuna sun? Seems like pretty intense light.
Also I know it's a gimmic but how do I put a storm or clouds into a program.
After I change something just click back and it's saved?
I have a mixed reef 4 foot 110 gallon any settings anyone wants to share ?

I believe Tuna Sun is for fresh water.

Just tried to connect to the light while I was out.
Keeps says to connect to my router.
I thought you were able to connect from anywhere ?

No you cannot as the AP9X/Dongle only can connect/communicate through your WiFi connection points.

Not very happy but totally my fault for assuming things.

Yes

Great coverage for my IM 50g

Thr app sucks. Need to wait for trying to connect finish reaching 100% then do a quick reload every time I want to change settings.
