Is there any way to make lightning with LED's and an Apex controller? I tried playing with the weather profile but it didn't work for me. Any input would be great.

I don't believe there is.... Fwiw you wouldn't want to anyways man it stresses fish and causes them jump and prolly does a number on your LEDs and shortens the life I would think...:(

I know that it has been done, but I don't have any experience with it. The On/Off shouldn't affect the LEDs nearly as much as they do with other lighting technologies.

Also, the unless you have an Aqua Illuminations setup, I think that you can't use the weather profile and have to program it manually.

Pass on it, it only freaks out the fish and encourages jumpers. Thats why most fish jump in the mornings when the lights would snap on.

Also, fish lack iris's, thats why no flash photography at the aquarium!
