I’m having troubles figuring out the programming for my auto feeder. I’m trying to set it as feed cycle A. I have it set to ON, but it never runs automatically. If i click "A" it will run, but i thought the point of an auto feeder is for it to run without forcing it to in the Fusion app. I read the information here on the stickied thread for setting it up, but im still having troubles getting it to run on its own. any help would be greatly appreciated. im leaving in 3 week for a vacation and am trying to get this running without issues before then

TIA

Are you talking about the Neptune Automatic Feeding System (AFS) or another feeder?

If AFS did you try setting it up from the TASK menu on fusion?
It’s the forth one down on the photo below.

Let me know if it’s a different feeder. That would have to be set up differently.

yes it is the AFS, i set it up through the task section. still cant get it to work

**edit**
i have also logged in through the IP, and made sure the firmware is updated. i am also using an apex classic if that makes a difference

Stupid question but is the switch set to auto? When is your first feeding “scheduled” and did it feed that time?

this is the article i looked through and went off of to set it up. still not working.

First - apologies if you mentioned the thread I linked already. I missed it.
Second - it was mentioned earlier but do you have the virtual outlet set to "AUTO"? If not, please set it to "AUTO" and it should work.

when setting it up originally it was set to auto. i tried running it set as "on" and still nothing.

After you’ve ran the set up task, the virtual switch needs to be set to auto. When programming the afs using tasks did you assign the feed button to manually feed? Or did you add it to the code after?

in 2nd photo you can see at the top autofeeder is set to "on"

Auto will follow the programming / schedule. To test you can click on the A to manually feed. Auto follows the schedule though. Or should.

When the virtual outlet is set to auto, when you push your feed button it should do a manual feeding. Does it manually feed when you push your feed button?

You can change how the time is displayed. I set mine to my local time to make things easier. Click the settings button then the clock icon, towards the bottom you can adjust for your time zone, just make sure to save and upload to apex.
