Apex classic

I have an Apex classic (orange sticker) with Eab8s and wxm. Can this controller get internet access or do I need a newer model. Also will I get to use the new app with fusion. Sorry just getting back in and wanted to see what I can reuse and what needs to be replaced.

I have my classic plugged into a WiFi extender and have no problems accessing it through the app

I have the same orange sticker classic model and I have it hardwired directly to my home router via ethernet cable. Works fine that way and yes it works with the current fusion.
