Apex EB8 and Powerstrips

So I know that daisy chaining powerstrips is generally frowned upon but I currently have my EB8 plugged into a powerstrip/surge protector since the other outlet is dedicated to a PowerLine Ethernet adapter. Is this ok? Second question is would it be ok to plug in powerstrips directly into the EB8? I would like to put my powerheads on a single EB8 outlet so they can go on feed mode without hogging up more outlets.
 
Thanks for the reply. Ill check both the powerstrip the apex is plugged into for amp rating and the individual EB8 outlet amp ratings!

You can plug a power strip in to control multiple powerheads no problem. as long as you do not pull more power then apex bar can handle you should be fine. I did this for a while then sucked it up and got more apex power bars.
