This was from back in 2022 and I think all controller companies had the same issue with this. It was a cost issue to send text from business accounts that prompted it. Since all the text would originate from the same address and the amount of them would exceed the limit they were going to have to pay to send those text if they continued to do it. So most of them switched to push notifications for alerts instead. Most will still send emails if you prefer those.I switched to using email alerts a while ago since I was already checking my inbox all the time anyway, and it's been working just fine for me.
