Hi all, just set up a some rules to trigger on Apex feed cycles, e.g. on my skimmer: If FeedA 005 Then OFF. These work fine when I manually trigger a feed cycle, but with my new AFS auto feeder now running to deliver one of my daily feeds, they don't run. Am I missing something or should my code on the skimmer for example be looking for the AFS like If AFS ON Then OFF? Thanks in advance.

If you want the afs to run on a schedule by itself you need to creat a VO on its own. From their code whatever you want. You cant run the manual feed modes on a schedule. Thats why they are manual feeds. Heres my afs programming:

Just add code to each outlet you want to shut down. For example if you want to turn off your skimmer go to skimmer and say if feedtank on then off. Be sure to add a defer as well.

On the AFS config, why does it ask to set a Feed Cycle?

thats just so you can do a manual feed whenever you feel like it... read the quick start guide for the afs on neptune website and it explains it all..
