So I'm trying to set up my apex he and I'm following the online directions exactly.
1) plug in the Ethernet cable to my router and apex
2) plug in the power cord
3) plug in my display screen
The display screen lights up but doesn't show anything.

What am I doing wrong?

Does it look like this one with those three dots in the upper right-hand corner of the screen?

It should take about a (1) minute to start up. Use your Aqua Controller Display Module and press the center button to navigate to the Main Menu. Start by going to SYSTEM> NETSETUP> and ensure that ‘DHCP’ is ‘ON’. Next, from within the same Net Setup menu look for ‘Restart’ and select it.

I have gotten that when it doesn't have Internet connection and the Internet cable is plugged in. Try unplugging the network cable and power cycle the apex. Then if it boots go into the network setting and see if it is set to DHCP till you can get into it to set it to a static ip.

For some reason I only get that if the cable is plugged in with no connection.

I did. I think the ports are broken, which is why the ethernet is giving an orange light also
An orange LED on the right side of the network jack is normal.

Disconnect the display and unplug the Apex Jr power cord. Plug the power cord back in. Wait 60 seconds, then look at the Apex Jr status LED (on top). Is it lit solid green or is it flashing orange?

If it is solid green, reconnect the display. What happens?

If it is flashing orange, let us know.

Nothing. The display doesn't even turn on anymore. I think the display is fried. Everything else seems to be working fine

When I try to open the browser it asks me for a username and password. But it's not any username or password that I know. So I can't get to those steps
