Have you tired posting in Neptune's forum? A lot of great information over there, and you're likely to get a faster repsonse.

The apex fusion is web based you have to get your wifi connected and named and once that is done and you can talked to the apex by going to a web browser and typing its IP address.
Best to read the online help at neptunesystems or even print them all out ( I'd but only for the parts I didn't understand)

Plug it into your router first. Which wifi adapter are you using? I'm using a netgear n300. Once I found the netgear on my home network I synced it by following the directions. It's a lot easier if your router has a WPS button. Mine didn't so it was a little more work.

Do you have to have a wifi adapter I thought you could just hook it up via Ethernet

Yea I have a wifi adapter. My router is upstairs though and the tank is downstairs. So I had no choice. Yea you can hook it up through Ethernet on the router. But i am not 100% sure that you can use fusion outside of your home if you go that route. You may be able to, but like I said I didn't have a choice lol.

You need to hard wire to router .... update the firmware . Once that is done you will get a token number on the display screen ... enter that into fusion

After you get your Fusion going, you can access your APEX from anywhere your can get internet access. It doesn't matter if your hardwired or WiFi.
