I have an Apex jr and though I have never owned one before it’s pretty straight forward, at least I thought. I programmed outlet one to work off my temp probe for the heater without issue. Outlet 2 is for my light. I have the time set correctly and have time on at 8 am and time off at 8pm but the lights stay on after 8pm. I have triple checked the time is right and I have the outlets set to lights with the lights shutting off if the tank gets over 85. What am I doing wrong. I come from the reefkeeper world but the apex isn’t much different… for the life of me I can’t figure it out

I believe it goes by the apex time not your local time. I was confused too when i first set up my apex. I’m not sure if you can change it to go by local. My trident also goes by apex time

It has time zones listed and according to google eastern is -5, which it’s set to. I’m at a total loss, the only reason I bought it is to control my temp and light.

Here is how it’s set but again it doesn’t work like it shows per the controller. Tried changing it to pump and same result the outlets don’t respond. Just trying to figure out what I’m doing wrong. Once I program my Orphek light I won’t need the controller to turn it off and on but I would like to utilize the apex’s other 3 outlets
