My Apex has been reading a lot lower pH than what is tested with a handheld tester. I have tried 4 different probes.. Brand new Apex branded one, Pinpoint, Milwaukee and BlueLab. All calibrate correctly with using Pinpoint reference solution and Milwaukee reference solution. The moment the probes enter the sump, they all read differently. Pinpoint stays at 8, Apex reads all over the place, Milwaukee is 8.06 and BlueLab is 7.75 (doesn't move)

Two different handheld testers show 8.25 and 8.27

I'm running out of ideas and frankly don't want to deal with Neptune Support.. I've had a trident NP ticket open with them for over a year and it's a nightmare.

Not saying this is the problem BUT I've heard that the electrical frequencies of some of our pumps and other equipment can mess with the reads of pH probes. Have you tried a different chamber in the sump or the display tank?

Try taking a cup of water OUT of the sump and testing it. This will isolate the sample from any interference from equipment and tell you if the probes are more consistent.
