Just set it up last night. The Alk and Mg tests are fine through four tests. They're less than Hanna, but consistently less so I can work with that - especially since it won't be calibrated for a couple of days.

Calcium is another matter. It keeps giving me Bad CA Range. My Hanna checker is giving me 538 and I'm told the Trident range goes up to 800.

I checked for any pinches in the tubes to the reagents and didn't see a problem. Reseated them anyway and it's still not working.

Is there anything else I can look for?

have you tried reaching out to apex?
I did, but thought I'd check in here, as well.

Turns out there was no problem with the Ca test. My calcium was simply too low to register.

The Ca test for Hanna is weird as it only uses 0.1 ml of sample. When dealing with volumes that small it's easy to mess up and get a bad reading. This is exactly why I wanted an automated tester in the first place - to take away the human error.
