Aptasia or feather duster

I just got a leather toadstool delivered and I need help identifying the hitch hiker on it! It closes and opens so I’m not sure if it’s a feather duster or aptasia

Feather duster.

You can tell the two apart as the duster has a tube

If it retracts then its a feather duster and it looks like one to me.

Aiptasia can “retract” as well so this isn’t a good way to ID
