Really impressive!
How much of the rock did you end up using?
I like it!!! You are a regular Michelangelo of reef rock. Great concept of covering the back and leaving the front open.
At first it's hard to really see what your creating, but when all is done I was amazed on how unique it really is. A lot of hard work but in the end it is all worth it, so proud of your creation.
Hey Michael I saw something like this in Cancun a little cove where you can go snorkeling and your creation brought back this happy memories I had a long time ago, thanks my friend.
I dig it! It’s differnt from the normal but in a great way. Think it will look spectacular covered in coral.
120RK,Yes I agree... once the corals are in.... wow huh!! Lol
It’s gonna be my best build yet! [emoji41]
Well I am thoroughly impressed ! ! Very nice design and execution. No wonder it took you this long
120RK,
Lol!!!
Your rock work was well worth the wait. It's off the hook and 3D!!!
Look ;Wideyed at all the ledges for new corals... ;Woot ;Woot
I love it and you did a great job
Thumbs upThanks lol I wanted to do something different... something you don’t see . [emoji4]
Thumbs up
Ok so let’s get this party started!! Lol I did finally complete the Aquascape. Now as I’ve mentioned before you’ll either love it or possibly hate it . This Aquascape has taken me many many hours of drying time and not to mention me working 80+ hours per week. Finding time was in 5 minute chunks.
I had to come up with some non conventional ideas for what I had envisioned. You see I’m a diver and being on many dives I’ve seen lots of different rock structures. With this Aquascape I attempted to replicate a wall dive that I had been to in Puerto Rico. Not the easiest thing to do!! Lol
I used STAX Rock from two little fishies, Aquaforest Stone Fix, and Aquarium grade silicone. I will give details as I post pictures.
Enjoy and I hope you like my Aquascape and it inspires you to think outside of the box and take a risk. I believe my risk has yielded an amazing Aquascape! [emoji4]
Wow that looks really good. It really came together with the front piece contrasting very nicely to the black overflow. Looks awesome!
