Hey All! Brand new to the site. Setting up my first tank. Going with a 65 gallon + 20L for sump. Plumbing is done and water tested!! Working on my Aquascape now. What do you think? Enough places for coral placement? Going for a mixed system. Too straight up and down? Thanks!!

Welcome to R2R. Are you going to glue or puddy your rock together? The one on top makes me a little nervous. Maybe go for a little more depth :)

Welcome to R2R!!! I would also encourage you to keep enough space between the rock and the glass for cleaning! Good luck!

Welcome

i always say put it together and leave it. Walk out of the room. The next few times you come in look at it. If you say right away you like it, there you go. If you hesitate redo. But also remember function and structure. Lots of caves and hiding places.

Welcome!

Hreat suggestions. I'd want two or three separate structures myself so it is possible to remove them (and so green palys cant overgrow my whole scape.

If you're not fastening them, I'd day looks good. A little tall maybe.

Wow! Quick replies. Thanks all! Yep. Planning on pinning them with acrylic rods and then glue them together in sections with the EMarko 400 mortar. I have about 2” or so all around the perimeter for flow and cleaning. Not sure how high is too high or maybe I need more space around the glass. Going for the more tunnels the better. Dig the idea of them living inside the structure more than around it. Thanks All!

Welcome to R2R!!! all great advice so far you need to be happy with the look when you're done, but as others have said if you move a few of the top rocks down it will help with more placement for Coral's & less likely to have them fall over on you when working in the tank.

Welcome to R2R! Just like everyone else, move the top rock lower and make sure to have enough space all around the tank for maintenance and give swimming space for fish.
