I ordered 55lbs of shelf rock and was planning on making some of the more usual shelf scapes you see on here/google. But my 55lbs arrived in 4 large slabs, albeit I requested larger 10-16 inch pieces (I just didn’t think they’d weigh so much) so I rolled with it and I’m happy. I know it doesn’t give fish the greatest of cover but it’ll be more reef than fish. Stax rocks came in clutch and a nice alternative to the more expensive foundation pieces although you do have to balance carefully before gluing/epoxying.

looks great! may want to consider raising artwork though to account for splashes/lights
Yeah

there’s a good 3 inches from the wall and then a filter chamber that’s roughly 6 inches so plenty of space.. but the lights - haven’t figured out what I’m doing yet for that

Soooooooooooo the tank dimensions I had included the internal filter chamber so rearranging everything after it was glued was a ton of fun and no infuriating in any way.

Lights are a go! PO’d about the primes though, on the sole “blue” setting, the different in colors between the two lights is insane. I’ll definitely be reaching out to AI, a quick search on Reef2Reef shows it’s a real common issue that the colors don’t match on multiple lights. Ones teal and ones an ocean blue. This thing will have algea in no time!
