So I bought this smart buddy because my house pressure was between 37-41psi. Since installing, the pressure rose a ton and it makes rodi faster and more efficiently! Love it! What I don't love is, when it first turns on, my tds out is at around 45-60. Within 1-2 minutes it's down to 0-1ppm. I think this is common for all rodi systems but what is the work around? I've been dealing with phosphates since the beginning and if rodi is plumbed to a storage tank, the first minute or two of running is making crap rodi. Before getting the smart buddy I put a tee on the outgoing rodi. One going to storage tank with a valve and one draining to sink with a valve. I would run into sink first until tds came down then flip valves. Set a reminder and go shut it down later that night. I'm hoping there's another solution to draining the first minute or two into sink first without doing it manually. If not, I bought a smart booster pump and can't use any of the smart lol. Help
