Are Aqua One heaters reliable?

As per thread title. I was planning on buying a Eheim Jager 100w for a (hopefully) upcoming Fluval Evo 13.5, however the Aqua One heater for the same wattage is around $30 cheaper. I know heaters are one thing you don't want to skimp on, and quality usually means $$$, but does anyone have experience with these?

They will last about two years and the temperature will be off by a degree or 2 but otherwise good. Once you find the right temperature it stays.
Every heater i have owned seems to fail eventually why i have an ink bird.

Would a different option (that's relatively budget-friendly) last longer, or is that about the expected lifespan for glass heaters? Also, would you recommend a 100 or 150w for that tank size?

There are two versions of Ehiem Jagar heaters available - the classic and the newer electronic thermoprocessor WiFi version. You can purchase the classic version, which is the tried and true heater that gave Jagar’s their name, for around $27 on most websites. I would get that vs. some heater brand I’ve never even heard of. I just bought 4 of the classics for my new 250g.

For that size of a tank you would be fine with a 50w heater.

Do you have a link to the classic heater? I'm not sure if the one I'm seeing on websites is classic or new.

I'm in a pretty hot area anyways, and it is a small tank, so you would probably be right. Less chance of everything being cooked in a malfunction as well. I only though 100-150w as I've seen that's what others have installed with this tank.

It's a pretty big brand over here (makes tanks, filters, heaters, anything really), and I have them in both my freshwaters with no issues (so far...) but if you recommend the Jager I might go that route. Was just thinking about it due to price difference, and was wondering whether all heaters were made about the same.
