Hey now. I’m just curious if Aquamaxx lights are any good?

What kind of tank are you looking to use it for?

FOWLR. I might need a light that mounts over the tank, not in the back

Mounted as in the side to side or hung from ceiling?

Yes. I already have one Prime but I’d need another. I’m just not sure I need all this light. For my planted tanks or for reefs I get it. Your using the light as a tool. But I’m just looking at fish

oh and yes I’d rather mount it onside baffles, but high enough to not get in way of when I open the lid.

Totally understand! I have a FOWLR IM Nuvo 20 that has one of those cheap amazon lights (maybe $25) and it does a great job. Obviously no built-in timer or ramping but it shows the tank off and fishes very well. I also heard a lot of the aquamaxx lights timers and ramping times are very confusing and faulty. Just my 2 cents

HOW MUCH DOES A FISH’S FEEDING REQUIREMENTS AFFECT YOUR STOCKING DECISIONS?
