Are the gyre pumps all that?

If I decide to go with a wire-in-tank wavemaker - do gyre wavemakers really offer better flow than more traditional pumps in "gyre mode' ?

Different flow... they move a ton of water

I run MP60 and Maxspect Gyre 350's, I really like the flow across the top of the reef with the gyre's

The only negative I've heard about them is the routine maintenance is more important to their flow than the vortech, Nero, koralia shaped pumps.

I run the same setup and love it, although I’ve had controller issues with the 350’s
