Do you think it’s something or maybe sand the frag plug djfbt have them 2 days agoI'd probably dip/scrape them off.
+1 to this.Would need a clearer picture to ID.
It looks like sand to me, but could be an Aquilonastra/asterina starfish. I’m not convinced the rumors that they eat corals are true (and even they are, the stark white ones are not the ones people claim eat corals). I don’t think that’s what this is though, has it moved at all? Then I’m not worried just hope they’re not coral killers
It’s like moving very slowly but I’ve had those little starfish in my old tank never seen them eat coral I liked them tbhvIt looks like sand to me, but could be an Aquilonastra/asterina starfish. I like them too, in 20+ years I’ve had them in every tank I’ve ever had (multiple different species/colors) and never had any problems with them. But I’m a big fan of microfauna and hitchhikers, they’re a huge part of what makes a reef tank interesting. It’s like moving very slowly but I’ve had those little starfish in my old tank never seen them eat coral I liked them tbhv
