Are these sweeper tentacles?

This only happens after feeding my coral a mixture of reef roids, rods food, and rods fish eggs. I also use the polyp booster prior to feeding.

I could be wrong, but I don't think so... it looks more like some sort of slime coming from that's extended from that hammer.

Coral slime. Usually caused by irritation or feeding response. Most likely a response from the food.

Yeah it comes off 2 hammers and 2 torches mostly.

It looks almost like the slime from a vermatid snail. I'm not seeing any in the pictures. Are there any on the skeleton of the hammer? You usually don't see the slime strand until you feed fine foods or stir up detritus.

Are these the snails? Are they bad?

It's kind of hard to see, but I think yes. They look kind of like a swirled tube that then sticks out and there will be a strand of slime that shows up kind of like the pictures. A to whether or not they are bad that all depends on who you talk to. Most people prefer not to have them in their tank myself included. Google it and see exactly if that's what it is and if the "tentacles" you are seeing are coming from them or not. Then decide if they are okay by you or not. If not, crush the base of them with a pair of tweezers or something similar. You will also find tons of posts here about how to get rid of them and arguments about whether or not they are good or bad. What I can tell you is that they are extremely common and as far a hitchhiker goes not a panic critter by any means.
