Amazing tank!
Congratulations.

I dose seachem flourish nitrogen. It is half kno3 and half ureia.
The idea is to give macro algae some extra food and in return it absorbs more phosphate.
With 0 nitrates my chaeto stalls.
The ureia seems also good for corals, as it is one of the source of nitrogen corals consume, I read.

Some new additions (couldn't resist to take this little guy home). Just he had some bullying for about a week.

There are some bad news this time...

1st - something happened to Heliofungia and it started to die off. After a week it is now gone. It is very sad as it was so big and took perfect place in the tank.

2nd - I've changed my dosing pump tube (as it worn out) and somehow it happened that during a week it managed to fill almost 2 liters of Aquaforest Component A to the tank... I was really afraid of the consequences, so did ICP test and today I've received the results - seems everything is normal. So this tough me a lesson - buy only original dosing pump tubes (or recheck after changing them)

Also there are some changes in equipment - decided to change refugium lightning from 4xT5s to 100 LED Floodlight (8000 lm) 4500K

So it replaces this one:

And now it looks like this:

So it is time for update - maybe lets say first part of the update. In my last post I've mentioned that I've changed refugium light to the LED. Additionally I've cleaned whole sump and almost a week after I've had Ich outbreak (last time I had Ich almost 2 years ago). So seems that Ich cells where down there in the refugium and results of this cleaning is shocking... I've lost quite a lot of fish - few of them are rare and for me it is really sad to lose them...

So the fishes that died during this Ich outbreak (two weeks time):

Acanthurus maculiceps - really sad about this one...
Naso lituratus
Zebrasoma flavscens
Cirrhilabrus rubriventralis
Chrysiptera hemicyanea
Genicanthus lamarck - really sad about this one...

Now it is stabilizing, but still Ctenochaetus strigosus still suffers Ich - I really hope that he is strong and will keep alive...

Another part of the update - additional changes to ReefAngel:

As sometimes it happens that electricity goes off (quite rare cases but still happens once in a while) and I have Sine Wave UPS with battery which could hold ~60 W for about 40 hours - I decided to make a bit modification in order to avoid some manual work when electricity goes off.

So at the moment when electricity goes off these are still working:

1) Skimmer
2) Return pump
3) Water change system
4) ATO
5) RO system
6) Wave pumps: Jebao RW15 x 2 + Jebao RW8 + Tunze 6020 + Jecod CP40 (Gyre)

And these items takes approx 250 W of electricity. So it means that my backup battery will work only few hours (up to 8 hours max) with such load. I decided to add some changes to Reef angel computer:

Salinity and ORP modules are connected to another power supply, so it means when electricity goes does Salinity and ORP is not measured - they are zero. So when ReefAngel notices that Salinity and ORP are zero and such thing takes more than 10 minutes - it switches off all equipment except wave pumps: Jebao RW15 x 2 + Jebao RW8 + Tunze 6020 (this is minimal requirement in order to keep everything alive). So in such case only ~60 W is used and I can be sure that battery will last quite long time. After electricity will turn on - Salinity and ORP values will be measurable and if during 10 minutes ReefAngel notices this - it switches back all devices that were turned off.

It is quite simple solution but it will help me in those rare cases.

And the third update is photo update... I've took some photos today (well 230 to be exact). So now I just need to take some best photos and post it here - I will do that in the short time :)

Addition to this update: first update about fishes are disappointing, but corals started to pop with colors and grow quite rapidly - so for me it is quite good news.
