This is my Nano reef tank. It has mixed SPS, LPS, and soft corals. I love to have the ATB skimmer to filter the waste of this tank. Thanks

I know R2R nano tanks definition is up to 40 gallon DT. This skimmer is rated up to 150 gallons. I want to join this but my tank is 87 gallons (could really use this skimmer) and my Sump is 40 gallon. I don't want to cheat by calling the sump a display tank ;
Can I join?

Post the build thread in the proper category. As long as you post your build thread it does not matter what section it is in.

ATB makes 1 of the best skimmers out there, so it is kind of silly to answer the question why I want it....Duh.....who would not want it. Moreover, this skimmer has small foot print which gives me a lot of room for the fuge for other stuff. I do not like big foot print skimmers.

Actually have bought a ATB skimmer for this tank but now I am broke from buying a ATB skimmer and could use the Nano skimmer for my frag aquariums which are 20 gallons x 2 and a 20 gallon sump.. 60 gallons of water and this would be perfect.

I'd love a skimmer, because I currently don't use one and rely on daily water changes, plus the wife wants to start having kids, moving, and new jobs, I'm not sure I'll have time to keep up with daily changes.

Why do you do water changes daily when you would be fine with once a week

I do about 200 ml daily, I think I've heavily stocked, last time I checked I had about 52 frags in a 12 gallon. My SPS are growing at a great rate with nice PE. I also feed pretty heavily as well between cyclepeeze and oyster feast. So between that and the growth and not dosing anything I found water changes to be very effective and cheap. If we're gone for a weekend I'll do a change before we leave and when we get back.

4.) I would love to give your skimmer a shot. I am all about high-end no compromises equipment. I have always heard ATB to be a player in this segment, but have not had a chance to give them a shot.
