I have a 250 RedSea Reefer. I have an ATI T5 6 bulb. Really like it but looking to add some pop to my corals. I'm going to add some reef brite strips. Should I do two reefbrites tech or o e reefbrites XHO or two reefbrites XHO? Really need some advice

Recently added a reefbrite tech to my 6 bulb ati unit. It's great for moonlight and for sunrise/sunset (if you have dimmable) but gets completely washed out when all t5's are on. If the XHO matched the ATI fixture I would have gone with that, but I liked that the tech matches the unit.

You can order the xho in aluminum vs black.

I know two fixtures is the way to go but would I go tech or xho? I'm leaning on xho. I'm thinking about keeping two radions in the back, the ati sunpower and then possibly one xho in front. If you run two XHO's in 36", they can both run off the new balast. Did you see their new dimmer?

I have a question pertaining to Reefbrites as well, kind of in the same boat as you. I currently have a 24in 4bulb ATI that I am going to move from my 20 gallon to a 40 breeder. I am going to be making an sps frag tank w/ lps on the sides out of the breeder. I know that I will not have enough lighting so I would like to add 2 - 24inch XHO reefbrite strips to give it a little kick. I am trying to chose which will give me the best growth. I have heard of a lot of people adding the “Blue” strip for “pop” but have not heard anything about the blues being used for growth. my main objective is to obtain the highest usable par for growth in the frag tank. I am torn between 2 “blue” or 2 “50/50". Can you help me based on any of your research?
