hey guys just made the switch from rscp to blue bucket. looking for advice for long term storage. it looks like once/month i will need to make nsw in the brute.

I have read things that warned about constant mixing. but Im thinking isnt the water constantly mixing in the DT?

BRS did an experiment video on this and it makes hardly any difference, so you should be fine

I make about 425 litres for my storage tank, and use the standard Red Sea salt, mix for around 24 hours and then turn it off until it’s all used up.

I know Red Sea have a video about it and say only to mix it for so many hours, but I’ve never had a problem with it.

i looked into this a little while back also and it seemed like the warning to not mix for too long was only applicable to the coral pro because the elevated parameters could cause precipitation. it shouldnt be an issue with the blue bucket.
