Pics soon. I got some more fish and an acro frag today and yesterday I picked up 2 mushrooms, pics of them soon. New fish are a scopus tang, mulit color fairy wrasse and a clown fish to pair with my other clown fish.

Couple of pics. The wrasse and tang are being shy so I will get pics of them when I can. The clowns found each other right away and are getting along great. Odd those that have been following know I had 2 clowns that I got at the same time from the same clutch and I had some agression issues and ended up loosing one to my skimmer pump when I moved it to my sump. Now the new one and my original clown got along right away.

Came home from work tonight and found 1 of my lights off. Turns out 1 of the new bulbs I just put in died already and is failing to fire. I contacted the seller and am waiting for a response on the issue. For now I put a Phoenix 14k back in the one fixture. Some enhanced pics

Update. My multicolor wrasse died, with 24 hours. I just dont have luck with wrasses, sixlines are all I seem to do well with. I shortened my fuge lighting by 4 hours, trying to get some detectable no3 in the system. Also having a replacement bulb sent out as well since the one died after like 2 days.

Thanks. I will keep trying. All other fish do really well for me but wrasses just seem to be super hard for me to keep, always been that way. I need to get a QT tank up. I have a 20g but its larger than I want to maintain as a QT. There was no damage done to the wrasse so it was not killed by any of my live stock. I know I have at least 1 large predatory worm living in my rock, I have seen it twice late at night but it was too fast for me to remove. I have been on the look out for it but I dont think killed the wrasses. It may have killed and eaten my pink damsel since it was doing great then just vanished overnight. My sixline and psuedo both sleep in the rock at night and the worm has not gotten them so I dont know. I do want to get that worm out of my tank but I dont want to rip apart the rock looking for it, i have some rock that it could hide in really easy even if removed.

2 more frags added to the tank. Seasons greetings monti and a nice orange micromussa. Pics to come. Also ordered the led bar amd got my replacement MH buld. I have my eye on a few more frags. One LFS I like sadly is pretty over priced on frags imo, they had ORA Purple Berry bugger sized frags for $80! Sorry nope, its one I want but not for what they want. Plus I have been asking for a frag of an aussie echinata they have for weeks now.

Made another LFS run today after work, last one for a while. Picked up a peppermint shrimp because a few aptasia have popped up! Dont know how because I dip, scurb and inspect all new corals so maybe the rock or chaeto. First place I saw aptasia was on the sand in my fuge. Also got an Azure damsel, 4 snails and 2 acropora frags one of which I already have but got another to place in lower light. Pics of everything soon.

Came home from work today looked at my tank and my tang has internal worms!!!!! Crap!! Dam not setting up a QT tank before I started adding fish. I really hope I dont loose all my fish because of this. Luckly the tang is active and eating. Pics of the tang pooping out worms and of the new additions and everything else. Any thoughts on what I should do about the tang worm situation? I know I should be QTing everything, working on a QT tank need a heater and filter sponge still, I have a 20H and cured rock already.

Are you sure they’re worms and not digested chaeto? Assuming you have chaeto in your fuge of course.

You can do a Prazipro treatment. Just soak the food in Prazi before feeding the tank. You can also do a whole tank treatment. I've done a whole tank treatment before because I had a wrasse that looked like it might have internal parasites. One treatment seemed to do the trick.

Are they reef safe treatments, really reef safe? Yes I do have chaeto in the fuge very little makes it in the display.

I had no issues with Prazipro in a whole tank treatment. You can just treat their food if you are worried. There are also medicated foods you can try, but I have not used those before.
