I kept a 120 display reef with 40 gallon sump 2007-2012 and then took a breather. Now that I have retired I got the bug again and just purchased my new tank - on the small side but will still be a lot of fun. I got the Waterbox Silver 45.2. Comes with the display, stand and sump and needed plumbing. I will start a separate thread on the build. I used to keep a few leopard wrasseand acan corals. Will still focus an scans and fragging bu will most likely just get a pair of Banggai Cardinals to breed. I have to build my library of reference material since I only kept my “conscientious Marine Aquarist”. If you have any suggesting I would greatly appreciate the input

I think everyone should have Martin Moe's books The marine aquarium handbook: beginner to breeder and the marine aquarium reference: systems and invertebrates. They are kind of dated but then again, so am I. :)

Welcome back.

Welcome to R2R!! :D Every reefers library should have a copy of Albert Thiel’s Advanced Reef Keeping.. it’s very outdated but great insight into early methods of reefing from different perspectives. My well used copy I picked up the day it was released back in 1989, also Charles Delbeek and Julian Sprungs the Reef Aquarium books volumes 1-3 are a good read, again dated but lots of very useful information from different perspectives
