Backup batery question

Hi, good afternoon, yesterday i bought a baterry backup and my question is next, what would be the best optioin, to connect the vortech of main tank or my return pump, what do you think

It depends on the coral you have in your tank. If you have sensitive coral I would hook it to the vortech to keep the flow on the corals moving but if its just a fowlr tank or you just have softies keep your filtration going.
