Bad idea? John Guest union tee before drain saddle...

Basically...I have very limited space under my sink and only room for 1 drain saddle. I use it currently for RO waste...but want to setup auto water changes with my DOS...so need to add a second line to the drain saddle.

Assuming potential siphon issues are taken into consideration...any issues with this? Anyone have a similar setup?

That should be ok to do, maybe put an inline check valve on each 1/4” line before the tee to the drain saddle would stop any back pressure from one affecting the other.
