Ballast MH connection issue

as you can see in the picture, there is an issue.
the male is flat and the female is rounded. Is there an adapter for this?

I doubt you will find an adapter. You will probably need to order plugs that match your ballast and then splice them in.

looks like that's what i have to do. no adapters available for sure.
found a whole cord and replace it. maybe I'll post if i finish.

I have also have a light that has the male style plug , can you use any ballast (correct wattage) and splice in a new female plug on the ballast?
