I currently have a outer orbit 250w mh which uses a current ballast and I use a 14k phoenix bulb. I am looking to upgrade the ballast and was needing some opinions. I would like to increase the par and a crisper whiter look. Thanks in advance.

Brian - Glad to see you made it over here.

My first choice would be an M80 ballast with the PHX's like I was telling you.
I'm not sure if the connectors are different on the Current USA electronic ones vs. the PFO or Aquamedic style connectors though. That is the only issue I can see.
Maybe someone with experience with the Current usa can chime in.

Does anyone know which brand of m80 ballasts would match the female end "current outer orbit" to my light? Thanks

Umm regrading that you can totally go to homedept and change the male/female connection to the ballast. Its a very easy. I personally changed out the connector with the current ballast for a tigher connection. I dont trust how the connectors are. Two little white plastic thing...
