bare bottom tank question HELP

Im planning to setup a 90g but want to have it bare bottom. I was wondering would i need a refuge with a DSB and cheato or even a refuge at all? im not trying to have a fuge on the setup. I was thinking of just live rock in the sump, skimmer, and CA reactor.

Anyone have a bare bottom tank please put your specs if you dont mind.

i use to have a bb tank. with only LR, coral and fish. never had no problem with it.
