So what is LEAR and where is it?

I went to Buckeye Reef Expo last year. It was good.

I live in Richmond, IN along I-70 on the Indiana/Ohio border.

Ive got a few things selling and picking up at LEAR, I always try to get there during the 2nd hour because its sooo crowded and I hate waiting in line. Im running out of room so thankfully my buying will be minimum...until I see everything in person so I can't help myself.

I mentioned it briefly early but I want to check if anyone is against me laying the frag on its side instead of the standard straight up and down? Or should I just leave it up and down as that's what it seems most people are doing?

I would suggest for at least the duration of the contest you leave it straight up and down as it will be easier to keep track of growth IMO.

I'll just leave it vertical but it would of been easy to track growth, just my starting size would of been like 1/4" or however thick the frag is on its side.

I'd say lay it horizontal. I'm curious to see the difference in growth and growth pattern when started horizontally compared to everyone else with vertical mounts. It could change how we all decide to mount new frags moving forward.

It’s entirely up to you. If you think you’ll get more growth than do it.

Not sure if I will get more growth but I’m gonna give it a try since I believe it will be super easy to measure, probably easier than if it’s a curved frag.

Do it!! It will be easy to measure either way you mount it.
