Bayer Advanced,did I buy the wrong kind?

Picked up what I thought was the right stuff but now that I look the label says "Bayer Advanced Home Pest plus Germ Killer". It's says it kills insects but also says it "Reduces 99.9% of the germs insects may leave behind". Can't use it until I get a definitive answer as to it's use in reef tanks. I'm glad I noticed the difference before using it. I have just been using Revive from Two Little Fishies but thought I'd kick it up a bit with the Bayer.

Contains Sodium ortho-phenylphenate as a disinfectant. Its actually used on fruit after harvest. There are some rat studies that it causes cancer. But rats do not have the same metabolites as humans so rat studies and digestion usually require more studies.

That said i would not use an unknown with corals. If the other ingredient was Tab cola but had no idea what tab cola did to coral i would also not use.

OK, so it's not the same thing and has no history of use in reef aquariums. That's really all I need to know. Thanks Gareth. I'll take it back and trade it for the right kind. Hopefully they can get the other stuff as this was the only thing labeled "Bayer Advanced" that they had at all.
