We always deep fry, and smoke a turkey. Got mine brineing right now ready to go for thursday.
A little brown sugar, cumin, sage, coriander, ground mustard, cayenne pepper, rosemary, thyme, kosher salt, pepper, garlic powder, and some celery salt is what I use for a rub.

Just grilled some Carolina Gold Leaf red hot dog on the old busted Webber at work. Does not look like much but any chance to grill something on the clock is a win
Unfortunately my grille has been cold for months. It needs new burners, and I want to upgrade it with ceramic briquettes and holders. I would have done it already, but my wife and I have an agreement that we dont buy anything for ourselves past October.
Got a 4 bone prime rib, some beef ribs and a couple racks of baby backs for Wednesday... Figure the roast will take about 7+ hours... Hope everyone who shows up is gonna be hungry...
