Beehave's Starting Journey

Tysm for your help. I'm super grateful. Ordering your hardware list right now.
No worries- it's what we do. I'm happy to help you, just like others have helped me.

The way I beat dinos, or the way I THINK I beat dinos was to blow off the rocks right before lights out and suspend them, then throttle up the pumps, give a nice dose of peroxide and turn on my UV.

In 2-3 nights it was gone.
I had to come up a long way to find out what this weet weeting business was about.

I also don't even bother making slides anymore. If it dies in a noght with UV on, it's Ostreopsis. If I have to start blowing it off the rocks and macro and letting it into the overflow (and into thr UV), it's Prorocentrum. If not, its Amphidinium or worse. Then I just slather Fiji mud everywhere.

It has recently come to my attention that the mud goes into the tank...

Prorocentrum - That's the one I had. It took me about 3 nights to get rid of it.

I mean, they are large to me. 90 and a 75 that just cycled.

I guess its just that I upgraded some gear. Let me gather come informations and pictures. 😘

Ok, my first post was the beginning of February. Here's an update. Still a baby tank but looking better. I did rearrange the rock because I had a fish disaster and had to find them all and remove them, most died anyway 😞. Then I couldn't remeber where I had the rock so I tried to do a rebuild.

I wish all the coral was open but they are ticked at me after jacking around in the tank.

Don't say anything about the unplaced coral. There's so much in there! I have no clue where to stick them or if I should add them to the Octopus tank. And I suck at placement.

Definitely coming along IMO.
