Hello R2R, I have been creeping around the forms for the last 8-9 months and i figured i would finally introduce myself and my tank.

This is my second fish tank, first saltwater. I had a planted fresh water tank for about 7 years with varying degrees of success.

Last November I was "lucky" enough to kind of inherent a 150g bow front reef ready tank with duel overflows. I had no idea what I was getting in to. But thanks to this forum I have been able to be pretty successful with this new hobby of mine.

Here is my setup with pics of my diy basement sump:

The main reason I am finally making an introductory post is that i have a question.

My frogspawn coral has some funny looking white stringy things that appear to be growing and i wanted to see if anyone has any idea what it is and if i should be concerned . Sorry about the bad cell pics.

Welcome to R2R!
Hair algae only on the frogspawn? Hmm....I'm not sure that's hair algae, but it's kind of hard to see as well.

Edit: I can kinda see the hair algae now. But is it just on the frogspawn?

Welcome.... Great place to learn and get great advice! I agree with the above statement about some hair algae and spaghetti worms on the frogspawn.
