Hello I’m a beginner at this hobby. I have a 200 gallon aquarium 72”x24”x24”. What lighting should I purchase here for this tank size? Plans on making it a mix reef tank. Your answer will be appreciated thank you
Welcome!

MANY options and many are 'right' options; deferring to others as there are light pro people on the forum

Well, that is like asking folks what flavor ice cream is best. Everybody has a favorite. I am a Kessil girl. I love the shimmer and the simplicity.
Welcome to the group! We're glad you are here....

Update here. I decided to go with hydra 32 hd . I hope this was a good selection appreciate your guys input
Nice choice. AI has an easy control via your phone/tablet. lots of options. And you can grow. need more lights, add some more. if money is an issue, start with 2, may need 4 or 6 depending on your scape and what you want to grow.

Welcome to the reefing world! Also welcome to the largest online reef forum out there! R2R is a great place to gain knowledge and learn from all kinds of hobbyists!

If you are interested I have a reefing channel I have had going this past year and nearing 1K subs! Think its been a fun little "family" I have grown and its a fun community as well to be a part of! Think after R2R, YouTube can be one of the best places to get information on reefing! Again welcome!
