Belgian SPS shallow Reef

Here is some pictures of my SPS Shallow reef, there is already some big pieces but a lot of frags too which are waiting to be masterpieces! :D

My light system is a DIY T5 with 14x54w, a pretty nice little sun :p

Beautiful! What are the tank dimensions? And do you keep the water level in the tank that high all the time? Looks like a mere centimeter from overflowing!

Tank dimension: 120x80x55 (in cm)

My lighting system is spill in 3 groups of 4 bulbs (ATI) which are light on one by one and light off one by one. For the bulbs configuration, there is:

FRONT
ATI blue+
ATI blue+
ATI purple
ATI aquablue special
ATI actinic
ATI blue+
ATI blue+
ATI aquablue special
ATI blue+
ATI blue+
ATI actinic
ATI aquablue special
ATI blue+
ATI blue+

(btw, I was under LED during the first year, the tank is under T5 lighting since Jannuary 2015)

About the filtration, the sump is fill with Deltec SC1455 Skimmer, a Deltec RAC PF501 and coal Reactor for bacteria. I dose some carbon with a mix of Vodka, vinegar and sugar (Secret recipe :p ) I also have a refugium with differents algae.

@acesq: I don't keep this level water all the time, I had to clean my durso :D, the water level is about 2cm under tank's edges.

Hi, nice tank! I'm from Brussels and I prefer full T5 also.
Why don't you try Hybrid Led/T5? The ATI works well. My friend has one and the lighting seems very good!
Any other suppléments?

I would like to try Hybrid LEd/T5, maybe I will work on my T5 system to add some blue LED this summer!

I don't have any other supplements than Carbon dosing (Vodka/vinegar/sugar) and once a week Strontium and Potassium!

I've seen your post about your past tank, what is the 6 products from reefcorner? ^^ I've already visited this shop and ths owner told me he sell this products but I don't really know what is it exactly!

Hi Oceansize,

It's a Pomacanthus xanthometopon, he is not totally reef-friendly, I can't put Zoas and Acans, but anyway, I'm a SPS only lover :cool:

Alk: 9
Mag: 1370

And I'm testing Strontium and Potassium too!

Hi guys,

Here is some updates!

I'm going to stop Carbon dosing through Vodka/Vinegar/Sugar and I will start Zeo-light system from Fauna Marin ! We went at the Extreme Corals shop in Germany with 2 friends and we bring back some nice corals :p
