Wild caught shrimp without additive. The one at the fish market for human consumption. Much cheaper than fish food and much better, fresher.
You can also get the frozen medley seafood back, Those are great and cheap.

I buy regular uncooked table shrimp from the grocery, chop/mash it up into small pieces, and freeze it.
Anemones love it. But they've been growing like weeds lately so I've cut way back on the feeding. :)

Notice how that wrapper reads "No Sodium Tripolyphosphate" and "No preservatives"?

That's what you need to look for.
Completely agree on this point. Most shrimp we purchase -- especially at grocery stores and a lot of fish mongers -- are "individually quick frozen" (aka IQF) and are treated with Sodium tripolyphosphate which is a preservative used in seafood like shrimp and scallops to "help retain...tenderness and moisture during storage and transport."

I don't have the luxury, but I've heard some folks buy live shrimp at certain markets and then process it themselves.
