I like the BRS gel the best. I've also used gorilla gel, BSI gel, dollar store brand, and a few others. I like the thickness of the BRS gel, and I've gone through almost a whole 10 ounce bottle without replacing the tip. I do have to break a bit of dried glue off the end before each session of fragging, but you would have to do that with any superglue.

I use the blue loctite super glue gel and the two fishes reef putty.

I make a little ball of reef putty, cover one side in super glue and stick it to the frag, then I cover the other side in super glue attach it to the rock I want.
You get the quick hold from the superglue and the strong longer lasting bond from longer curing putty. Also allows you to glue frags at weird angels etc..

Any cheap gel super glue should work lol.

currently using BSI from eBay. Along with the quick set- so far I’m happy with the easeand quickness with the quick set, and it holds strong enough to stay in place but not hard enough to to where it’s not hard to twist and break glue bind if you wanted to remove something later.
Here’s a link to what I got in case you want to see

plus bonus: it comes with extra tips/caps in case you glue one shut lol. The lid to the caps have a “poker” that helps keep the tips from clogging as well. This may be main reason why I like this glue, seems I get to use all or most of the tube before it goes in the trash. Others I’ve had issues with tip clogging and not being able to use all the glue.
Hope this helps!
Take care and happy reefing!

I like IC gel, but I also regularly use dollar store super glue gel. Most things will work.

Are you using the activator when attaching frags under water? I used the BSI + activator when I built my aquascape for my 20g waterbox, but never tried it underwater. I wasn't sure if the activator would be reef safe or not.
