Hey guys,
I'm setting up a 30gallon tank without a sump and wanted to use Tunze skimmer (Comline 9001) and internal filter ( Comline 3162/3163 ). I already have a skimmer but been waiting for two months for the filter and doesn't look like I'll be able to get it. (I'm in Australia)

Can you advise what other internal filters would do a really good job? I don't want HOB, would prefer something similar to above Comline (I have 3161 and am happy with it's simplicity, practicality and look.)

Thanks!

Probably going to want something HoB with a surface skimmer. Otherwise the film on top will get annoying.

Both the skimmer and the Tunze internal filter I was hoping to get have surface skimming tho. I assumed other brands would have that too?

I just really hate how much salt creep HOBs are collecting. I have both in my nanos and so far HOB is my worst nightmare

The new Sicce Sharks look cool, but I have no personal experience.
I looked into these and they look pretty good, thank you! I may actually go with that if I don't hear back from the Tunze shop soon. :)

I bought one and sent it back. It looks like a great filter but the magnet is terribly weak. Could not get it to hold horizontally. No idea why Sicce used such a terrible magnet.
