After 15 years of doing reefing I've amassed as many glass magnet cleaners by every brand, starting from MagFloat, Algae Free, TUNZE, Flipper and even the latest Waterbox. They all excel at certain aspects - Waterbox looks the best, TUNZE get after tough algae the best, Flipper is great all around and balanced. What does a R2R community use and prefer?

Here's a review I've put together:

I tend to use it the most as well, apparently they have the Edge version now. But for tough algae - it does not quite get the job done.
What do you use for tough algae?

How do you avoid scratches??
Bump would like to hear more discussions on this. I am currently using Kedsum magnet scrubber. It doesn't seem super strong, but I have pretty thick glass on my 300g tank. Here is amazon link. I'm looking for something strong enough that I can actually use it not just for the light algae, but so I can scrub my glass of the heavier algae without sticking my arm in tank. My tank is huge so it takes hours to scrub the glass.

Creating a strong bulwark: Did you consider floor support for your reef tank?
