Yes. That looks better. But it’s not old fashioned. Nothings as old fashioned as a row of solid clicky toggle switches lol

I got this one. Little smaller, individual switches. Heavy aluminum casing. Nice mounting brackets with cord control arms. Works great for me.

Check out this bad boy - surge protection and individual outlet control via wifi

This is what I use. Had issues in the beginning with wifi connectivity. My wifi router (an older one) has 2.4 and 5g but was only setup with one network. Once a 2.4 & 5g was setup as individual networks my issues went away. Also have it connected thru my Alexa echo so I can shut things off as needed with just verbal commands. I can tell Alexa to shut off protein skimmer for a set time and it sets a timer to turn it back on.

I’ve always liked the commercial grade Tripp Lite strips with the metal body, and of course the American DJ toggle strips.
Same here.
I have one of the American DJ strips on all of my tanks, and the Tripp Lite metal ones for use everywhere else.
